The topic of donations in the Ukrainian mountain community has been revisited more than once.
It has been lived through, rethought, doubted, inspired again — and then gone through all over once more. And it seems it will never truly end. Because as long as the war continues, the need for support does not disappear.
In our community, it’s hard not to fundraise for those you know personally. And within this bubble, almost everyone knows everyone. It’s a unique situation where the outdoor community itself creates trust.
You donate to a specific person — someone you’ve hiked with, shared a tent with, poured tea together, or simply known online for a long time.
At the same time, everyone understands: friends’ fundraisers matter just as much. You contribute there too. You share your friends’ fundraisers alongside your own. You support several initiatives at once.
This creates a kind of anti-competition — where there is no fight for attention, only a shared goal.
Throughout the year, we consciously tried to interfere with this anti-competition as little as possible. While clearly following one simple principle — to support those we know closest.
We supported in different ways:
— through visibility, sharing fundraisers and launching our own;
— through our products for giveaways;
— through specific items made on request.
For us, this is the most honest position.
Over the year, we took part in many fundraisers — large and small, urgent and long-term. The main recipients of our support were Pivnich, Kira Rodkina, as well as our partners and teammates who are now serving in the military.
Often, this wasn’t just about donations, but about providing gear or items made specifically for the real needs of military units. Because we understand: the right thing at the right moment can be critical.
For us, this is not “brand social responsibility” and not a line in a report. It’s part of our life and our community. We are deeply grateful to our circle of followers and friends for being here, for trusting us, for responding and supporting.
Without you, this entire system simply wouldn’t work.
We would truly love for the day to come when donations are no longer needed.
But until that day arrives, we see a donation as more than just financial help. It is personal support. A simple and important “I’m with you.” And perhaps that is its greatest value.
We continue to help.
We are here.
And we believe we will win.
Glory to Ukraine 🇺🇦
